Job summary

Fugro seeks a Project Accountant in Houston to support Financial Controllers with project control, reporting, and IFRS-based revenue recognition. You will prepare monthly project income statements, track budgets, and provide timely insights to project managers.

Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance and 2+ years of general ledger/POC experience, with strong Excel skills and the ability to meet deadlines and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• 2+ years of general ledger, POC accounting, cost accruals and project analysis.
• Strong Excel skills and proficiency with accounting systems.

Responsibilities

• Provides accurate accounting, reporting and project control for assigned projects.
• Manages monthly close cycle for the project segment and performs margin analysis.
• Prepares project income statements and tracks budget/cost/revenue data.
• Communicates financial information to project managers and stakeholders.
• Ensures revenue recognition under IFRS for projects and maintains files.
