Job summary

Acara Solutions is seeking a Finance Analyst Specialist to support project delivery through financial controlling, cost analysis, forecasting, and project-data management in Houston.

Responsibilities include managing SAP-based cost structures, budgets, EAC calculations, and monthly financial reviews to identify risks and opportunities for improvement. A strong Excel/ERP background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years in Project Controls, Cost Controls, Project Finance or related role.
• 2+ years with SAP or ERP systems with WBS and cost data.
• 2+ years in SAP Project System (SAP PS) or project ERP environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage project cost structures, budgets, WBS alignment, and master data in SAP.
• Prepare and maintain Estimate at Completion calculations and budgets.
• Monitor cost performance, identify overruns and risks.
• Support monthly forecasting of costs, revenue, gross profit and cost-to-complete.
• Drive accurate financial reporting and improve cost-controlling processes.
