Job summary

The Falcon Group in Miami, FL is seeking a Project Accountant to manage the financial setup and maintenance of projects in our ERP system. You will work with project managers, accounting, billing, and operations to ensure accurate project structures for billing, revenue recognition, and reporting.

Responsibilities include setting up projects, maintaining lifecycle data, and resolving discrepancies between contracts, budgets, and invoices, while delivering precise financial analysis and reporting

Qualifications

• Associate degree in accounting or finance required.
• Experience with ERP systems and Deltek Vantagepoint preferred.
• Background in architecture/engineering or professional services is welcomed.
• Strong Excel and numerical aptitude.
• Ability to read contracts and financial documents.

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects in ERP based on contracts.
• Establish project phases, departments, and billing parameters.
• Maintain project information through lifecycle and amendments.
• Verify consistency between contracts, budgets, and billing.
• Support billing and financial reporting.
• Assist with project financial analysis and reconciliations.
