Job summary

EEC Environmental is seeking a Project Accountant to support project managers and leadership with precise financial tracking of environmental consulting projects in Orange, CA. You will set up projects, process invoices, and ensure costs align with contracts.

Responsibilities include reviewing timesheets, managing POs, and reconciling revenue and costs while aiding month-end close and continuous process improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience with project accounting for multi-phase or multi-client projects.
• Experience with AR, invoicing, reconciliations, and month-end close.

Responsibilities

• Set up new projects in the accounting system and process invoices and billings per contract terms.
• Review timesheets and expenses for proper allocation.
• Manage purchase orders and subcontractor invoices; reconcile project revenue and costs.
• Collaborate with project teams to forecast financial performance and assist month-end close.
• Support improvement of financial processes and internal controls.
