Job summary

Enduring Development, LLC is seeking a Project Accountant to support the financial management of multifamily construction projects and assist with accounting across the organization’s entities.

In this role you will own project accounting functions, manage subcontractor billing and draws, produce monthly job cost reports, monitor budgets and commitments, process AP and POs, handle change orders and lien releases, and reconcile project costs to the general ledger while coordinating with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Direct construction accounting experience is preferred.
• Hands-on experience with Procore and construction financial processes.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records and job cost reporting for multifamily construction projects.
• Review project costs against budgets, commitments, contracts, PO0s, and approved change orders.
• Prepare and distribute monthly job cost reports, including budget-to-actual and committed-cost reporting.
• Perform monthly project and job cost reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate project budgets and commitments within the accounting and construction management systems.
• Coordinate with project management and development teams regarding budget changes and project status.
• Collect, organize, and review monthly subcontractor AIA payment applications and documentation.
• Review subcontractor billing for accuracy, contract compliance, and current amounts due.
• Prepare project monthly draw packages and submit owner/developer draw requests.
