Build Group, Inc. in San Francisco is seeking a Project Accountant to work closely with Project Management on project accounting, reporting, subcontracting and administrative issues.
The role reports to the Area Controller and is on-site. Responsibilities include transactional, compliance and reporting functions; reviewing and coding subcontractor invoices; preparing monthly owner billings and schedule of value updates; and maintaining lien waivers and SOV documentation.
The Project Accountant will work closely with Project Management on all areas of project accounting, reporting, subcontracting and administrative issues. The Project Accountant will report directly to the Area Controller. The successful candidate must have the ability to multi-task, see the big picture, be detail-oriented and have previous construction accounting experience. This position is on-site.
