Job summary

GPAC is seeking a Project Accountant to join its growing accounting team in Aurora, OH. The ideal candidate will manage project financials from startup through closeout, handle subcontractor pay apps, owner billings, and change orders, and collaborate with project managers to ensure accurate reporting.

The role requires experience with construction accounting, job costing, and WIP reporting, plus proficiency in ERP systems such as Viewpoint Vista, CMiC, Sage, Foundation, Spectrum and Procore.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project accounting experience in a commercial general contractor setting.
• Strong understanding of job costing, WIP reporting, AIA/progress billing, and construction contracts.
• Experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proficiency with construction accounting software (Viewpoint Vista, CMiC, Sage, Foundation, Spectrum, Procore or similar ERP).
