Adaptive Solutions Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our team in the St. Louis/Kansas City area.

You will support general accounting across multiple entities, process project-based accounting functions including accounts payable and accounts receivable, and assist with month-end close to ensure timely financial reporting. Qualifications include 3+ years in accounting, solid understanding of GL concepts, proficiency in Excel, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related finance role.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and general ledger processes.
• Experience with reconciliations, financial transactions, and month-end close.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with intermediate reporting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsabilités

• Support general accounting activities for multiple entities in a shared services environment.
• Process project-based accounting functions including AP and AR support.
• Assist project teams with invoice prep, collections, and supporting docs.
• Collect and maintain documentation for customer invoicing and payments.
• Perform weekly cash analysis and assist cash reporting.
• Process bank deposits and routine accounting transactions.
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Assist with month-end close and timely financial reporting.
• Maintain financial records and ensure compliance with procedures.
• Collaborate to identify process improvements and efficiencies.
• Support additional accounting and finance projects as assigned.
