Bacon Farmer Workman Engineering & Testing, Inc. and Marcum Engineering LLC are seeking an Accountant to join our accounting/finance team in Paducah, KY.

This role covers all aspects of project and financial accounting within a collaborative, team-driven environment. The ideal candidate will work with project managers on monthly revenue recognition, billing, and financial analysis, maintaining contracts and related documentation while ensuring confidentiality and timely reporting to support

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Time management skills.
• Able to maintain confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with project managers to set up, maintain, and perform monthly revenue recognition, billing, and financial analysis related to projects.
• Compile, research, and analyze data and reports to assist in achieving performance goals.
• Maintain project contracts, supplemental agreements, task work orders, etc.
• Review project status, including project job costs, billing, and performance, applying accounting principles.
