Job summary

Mead & Hunt, Inc. is seeking a project accountant to join our Finance department in Daytona Beach.

You will handle invoicing, project setup, and billing support, partnering with project managers and finance teams to ensure timely, accurate financial reporting for diverse projects nationwide. The role requires a degree in accounting/finance or related field (or equivalent experience) and offers a range of benefits with strong emphasis on growth and collaboration within a nationally recognized,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field required.
• Alternative: associate degree with two years invoicing or billing experience.
• If no degree, at least four years of relevant invoicing or billing experience.

Responsibilities

• Process invoices for assigned department managers.
• Create projects in accounting software including billing terms and project budgets.
• Investigate client payments and outstanding invoice inquiries.
• Assist with research and resolution of client questions.
• Run standard reports.
• Collaborate with project and department managers to ensure accurate financial reporting and project billing.
• Compile and update finance processes and procedures.
