The ideal candidate has 1–4 years of accounting experience with AIA billing and Procore familiarity, plus a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and strong Excel skills for precise financial reporting.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of accounting experience (construction industry preferred).
• AIA billing experience is required.
• Procore experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Strong Excel and accounting software skills.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage monthly AIA billing and subcontractor pay applications.
• Maintain job cost reports and track budget vs. actuals.
• Review and code invoices, manage vendor payments, and track project expenses.
• Collaborate with project managers on cost tracking and financial reporting.
• Maintain accurate financial records in Procore and accounting systems.
• Monitor commitments, change orders, and progress billing.

Sinclair Construction Management is seeking a Project Accountant to support the financial operations of our construction projects. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working with project teams, subcontractors, and accounting staff. This role involves maintaining accurate financial records, managing project billing, and supporting cost control throughout multiple active projects. Experience with AIA billing and platforms like Procore is strongly preferred.
