Genuine Search Group is seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to manage project accounting for real estate development and construction initiatives in New York. The role involves tracking costs, budgets, invoices, and expenditures, and preparing financial reports for multiple projects.

Qualifications

• 3–7+ years of accounting experience, with project accounting experience preferred.
• Real estate, construction, or development accounting experience strongly preferred.
• Experience working for a real estate owner/developer is ideal.
• Candidates coming from a general contractor or construction environment will also be considered.
• Strong understanding of project costs, budgets, and financial reporting.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
