Project Accountant

Our PE Backed Construction client is eagerly looking for a Project Accountant for a newly created position due to growth. The candidate will have at least two years of Construction (or related) industry experience, project accounting and Work in Progress (WIP).

$75k-$90k + Bonus

On‑Site in DTC

Primary responsibilities:

• Review monthly costs Estimates at Completion (EAC)
• Work in Process (WIP) on assigned projects to confirm accuracy, as well as understand and explain margin changes and over/under billings
• Maintaining accurate records, managing key accounting processes, overseeing payroll functions, and collaborating with various departments
• Assist with job costing and project tracking

Primary qualifications include:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting or related field
• 2+ years of Project Accounting
• WIP experience
• Health Plan with HSA, MDLive, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, EAP, LTD, Life Insurance, and voluntary supplemental life insurance and coverages.
• 401k with competitive match
