Job summary

Southland Industries in Carrollton, TX is seeking a Project Accountant to coordinate all phases of the construction job costing process, including recording, analyzing and monitoring costs and billings for a large project and several smaller ones. Job description

Position Summary

The Project Accountant is responsible for coordinating all phases of the construction job costing process including categorizing, recording, analyzing and monitoring costs and billings associated with a large construction project as well as several smaller less complex projects. This position also assures vendor compliance in order to manage project risk. This role is assigned to a large construction project, working closely with the Project Manager to assure timely and accurate accounting and risk management throughout the project life cycle.

Position Details

• Compiles, prepares and analyzes monthly project billings per contract requirements.
