• Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience; project or construction accounting experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of job costing, budgeting, and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software systems.
• Ability to analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in construction, industrial services, or project-based industries (preferred).
• Knowledge of contract billing, percentage-of-completion accounting, and cost tracking methodologies (preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP/accounting software systems (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records for multiple projects.
• Monitor and analyze project costs, budgets, and revenue.
• Prepare and submit customer billings per contract requirements.
• Review and reconcile project-related accounts (labor, materials, subcontractors, equipment costs).
• Assist managers with budget tracking, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Prepare project cost reports and variance analyses.
• Process and track subcontractor invoices.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and contractual requirements.
• Collaborate with Operations, Payroll, Accounts Payable, and Project Management.
• Assist with audits and special projects.

This position plays a critical role in supporting project operations through accurate financial reporting, job cost tracking, billing, and accounting support. • Monitor and analyze project costs, budgets, commitments, and revenue.
