Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. seeks a Project Management Manager to lead a team delivering basic management services aligned with strategic objectives. You will oversee project scopes from initiation to completion, ensure timely procurement and execution, and coordinate cross-functionally to meet business goals.

Ideal candidates hold a degree with 3–5 years of relevant experience and may have PMP, CCM, or LEED AP designations. Strong leadership and budgeting skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
  • Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.

Responsibilities

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Oversee all phases of project management including procurement, contracting, planning, tracking, etc.
  • Ensure contract procurement, negotiation, execution, administration, and closeout are accurate, timely, and compliant.
  • Monitor billing, accounts receivable collection, expense monitoring and control, staffing, and full P&L to EBITDA.
  • Work cross-functionally with other business lines to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.
  • Identify small to medium project risks, lead reviews, and develop risk mitigation and backup plans.
  • Lead by example and model CBRE RISE values and influence parties to reach agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and integration with others to achieve objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues.

About the Role:

As a CBRE Project Management Manager, you’ll manage a team responsible for providing basic management services to achieve the company's strategic business objectives.

This job is part of the Project Management function. They are responsible for the management of projects from initiation through completion.

What You’ll Do:

What You’ll Need:
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered. LEED AP, PMP, and CCM designations preferred.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, and rewarding performance and retention is preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations and handle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact on quality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mindset.
  • Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate complicated figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
