The role requires blueprint comprehension, a year of press experience, and teamwork in a manufacturing environment; you’ll monitor equipment, document output, and support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Ability to read blueprints, control plans and work instructions.
• At least one year of experience as a press operator.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Strong math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate progressive stamping presses to meet customer specs.
• Comply with company policies and procedures.
• Complete production paperwork and quality checks.
• Maintain a safe work environment by following procedures.
• Update job knowledge through educational and training opportunities.
• Maintain and Calibrate equipment, complying with safety regulations and submitting orders for complex repairs.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Inspect, package, and document finished orders.
• Set up, monitor, and maintain press to meet product specifications and timelines.
• Complete job run logs, including mechanical problems and metrics for output, waste, and spoilage.
• Other processes and responsibilities may be added at the company’s discretion.
