Job summary

Vetted Solutions seeks a dedicated RN to provide direct patient care in a high-acuity pulmonary progressive care unit in St. Louis.

You will collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to manage complex respiratory conditions and lead education for illness management and discharge planning. The role features full-time night shifts with weekend and holiday rotations in a supportive, multidisciplinary setting focused on complex pulmonary care and patient rehabilitation.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's preferred.
• Active RN license.
• Entry-level candidates or with at least 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work safely and adapt to a fast-paced environment.

Job description

Provides direct patient care in a high-acuity pulmonary progressive care unit, managing patients with conditions such as lung transplants, pulmonary hypertension, ventilation dependence, and other complex respiratory issues. Collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver timely, effective treatment, with a focus on respiratory support weaning and patient rehabilitation. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, while promoting patient and family-centered care through education on illness management and post-discharge care planning.
