The role requires a Tool & Die Maker Journeyman Card, 2+ years of die design experience, and proficiency in interpreting drawings. You will lead design reviews, optimize tooling, and contribute to cost reductions.

Qualifikationen

• Tool & Die Maker Journeyman Card is required.
• 2+ years of die design experience.
• Experience designing metal stamping dies and related tooling.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Aufgaben

• Design metal stamping dies, tools, fixtures, gauges, and assembly equipment.
• Create end-strip layouts for quoting, estimating, and die development.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop efficient metal forming processes.
• Utilize forming analysis software to optimize die performance and manufacturability.
• Lead design reviews and provide solutions to tooling and process challenges.
• Support toolmakers in the machining and development of complex die components.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve overall tooling efficiency.
