Responsibilities include end-strip layouts for quoting and die development, leading design reviews, supporting toolmakers, and identifying cost-saving tooling improvements. 2+ years of die design and a Tool & Die Journeyman Card are required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of die design experience.
• Experience designing metal stamping dies and related tooling.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and computer proficiency.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design metal stamping dies, tools, fixtures, gauges, and assembly equipment.
• Create end-strip layouts for quoting, estimating, and die development.
• Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to develop efficient metal forming processes.
• Utilize forming analysis software to optimize die performance and manufacturability.
• Lead design reviews and provide solutions to tooling and process challenges.
• Support toolmakers in the machining and development of complex die components.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs and improve overall tooling efficiency.
