Qualifications

• Florida Registered Nurse licensed in accordance with state regulations or compact licensure.
• Nursing Diploma or ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Current BLS required; ACLS required after 60 days of hire/transfer.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills; ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Progressive Care Unit patients.
• Educate patients and families about medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients’ records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
