Job summary

Qualifications

• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS certification required.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of employment start date.
• RN licensure as a registered nurse.
• Registered Nurse Diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the provider.
• Document care administration in the patient record promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses.
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment used in cardiac and medical-surgical care.
