Job summary

HCA Healthcare Summerville Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with providers, you will deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care and advocate for patients to enhance the experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patient status on admission and each shift, performing physician-directed procedures, documenting care, administering medications, and maintaining knowledge of cardiac

Qualifications

• ACLS to be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• BCLS to be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• NIH Stroke Scale to be obtained within 90 days of employment start date
• RN licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Associate or Bachelor degree required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
• Advocate for patients to support exceptional patient experience
• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift
• Document care in the patient record and administer prescribed medications
