Job summary

HCA Florida Poinciana Hospital is hiring a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high quality, patient-centered care. You will provide pre-operative and post-operative nursing care in collaboration with medical providers and advocate for patients to ensure an exceptional experience.

Responsibilities include assessing patients at admission and each shift, performing physician-ordered procedures, documenting care promptly, administering medications, and maintaining up-to-date

Qualifications

• 1 year RN experience.
• ACLS must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• BCLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date.
• RN Registered Nurse credential required.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, report changes.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by medical provider.
• Document administration of care in medical record promptly.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
