Job summary

Mission Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare, seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with providers. The RN supports pre-operative and post-operative care and acts as a patient advocate for an exceptional experience.

In this role you will assess patients on admission and each shift, perform procedures as ordered, document care, administer medications, and maintain knowledge of cardiac and medical-surgical procedures

Qualifications

• One year of RN experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing or enrollment in BSN and plan to obtain BSN within 5 years of hire.
• RN license in North Carolina; eNLC may apply.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.
• Masters in Nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift.
• Document administration of care in the patient record.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
