Job summary

Kaiser Permanente NW in Oregon is seeking a registered nurse to provide assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care. The RN collaborates with the health care team to diagnose and treat health problems and coordinates nursing activities with other disciplines.

Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Oregon RN license; BLS required at hire; ACLS; NIH Stroke Scale within 3 months; and telemetry experience. Preferred: ICU/step-down exposure and PCCN/CCRN certification.

Qualifications

• Computer keyboarding skills.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and develop a plan of care with the care team.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient teaching.
• Administer medications and document in the EMR per policy.
• Evaluate patient progress and participate in unit quality activities.
