Job summary

Banner Health in Tucson's PCU-4N unit seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to assess, plan and coordinate comprehensive nursing care for patients across a progressive care population. The 4N unit offers a dynamic environment with opportunities to care for patients recovering from cardiac events, strokes, and other conditions.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, teamwork with physicians and therapy staff, and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in state of practice.
• BLS certification required.
• Experience in clinical area desired.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patient needs and plans care with discharge planning.
• Formulates and implements a plan of care in collaboration with patient/family and health team.
• Coordinates and supervises the health care team in delivering care.
• Documents nursing assessments, interventions and patient response in the record.
• Communicates patient status to caregivers to ensure continuity of care.
