Advocate Health is seeking an experienced registered nurse to join our clinical team. You will provide direct patient care across units, applying evidence-based practices and participating in governance and quality initiatives.

You will use the nursing process to assess and plan care, collaborating with families and the health team to achieve optimal outcomes while maintaining patient safety and high standards of ethical practice.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active registered nurse (RN) license with privileges to practice where the client is located.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional certifications may be required by specialty.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care, engaging patients and families across the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Continuously evaluates patient, team, and unit outcomes and takes action as needed.
• May administer medications, treatments, and therapies per clinical protocols.
