Job summary

HCA Florida Largo Hospital is seeking a Progressive Care Registered Nurse for the PCU/IMC unit. The RN coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with medical providers for pre-operative and post-operative patients.

Qualifications

• RN with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and active Florida RN license.
• ACLS and BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Familiarity with cardiac care and post-operative nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes in status.
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by the medical provider.
• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record promptly and accurately.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient response.
• Maintain knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used for cardiac and medical-surgical patients.
