Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga is seeking a Progressive Care RN to provide direct patient care within the Registered Nurse Practice Act and to support our multidisciplinary team in delivering safe, compassionate care.

You will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vitals, educate patients and families, and participate in performance improvement activities to help our hospital fulfill its mission and vision.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
• Current Licensure with KY Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate patients' care needs and carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, monitor vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
