Job summary

Piedmont Eastside is hiring an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down in Snellville, GA. This part-time role offers 2 x 12 hour day shifts per week with some weekends.

You’ll provide high-acuity nursing care bridging ICU and med-surg in a supportive, patient-centered environment. The RN will perform assessments, plan and implement care, coordinate with the care team, and participate in continuous improvement and clinical research opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• New Graduates eligible.
• Current GA RN license.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the birth to death continuum.
• Perform assessments and develop plans of care.
• Coordinate patient care with the nursing and interdisciplinary team.
• Document care provided and communicate with physicians and Charge Nurse.
• Supervise ancillary and support staff as applicable.
