Job summary

SSM Health's OK-SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital in Shawnee is seeking an experienced nurse to provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.

The role requires compassionate patient care, adherence to safety standards, and collaboration with an inter-professional team in the Progressive Care department. Night shifts with 36 hours weekly are available; RN licensure in applicable states is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in applicable state(s) as required.
• BLS HCP certification per facility requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
• Establishes care plans and advocates for patients and families.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Collaborates with inter-professional team to meet patient needs.
• Educates patients and families on measures to maintain health and comfort.
• Maintains safe, ethical, and culturally sensitive care.
