Job summary

SSM Health St. Anthony Hospital – Shawnee is seeking a Regular nurse to provide direct nursing care in settings requiring complex assessments and interventions, following established policies and protocols.

You will deliver care across diverse patient populations in a fast-paced environment. The role emphasizes collaboration with patients and families, integration of evidence-based practice, safety, and ongoing professional development to maintain competencies for acute and critical care nursing

Qualifications

• Graduate of accredited school of nursing or education equivalency for licensing.
• RN license in good standing in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain comprehensive patient data to develop a holistic care plan.
• Analyze assessment data to identify diagnoses relevant to care.
• Collaborate with patient, family and interprofessional team to set outcomes.
• Develop and implement care plans with evidence-based strategies.
• Coordinate plan implementation with patient and interprofessional team.
• Evaluate progress toward goals and adjust as needed.
• Maintain current knowledge and competence in nursing practice.
• Communicate effectively within the care team and with patients.
