Job summary

Winchester Hospital in Winchester, MA is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit on a night shift. This contract covers 12-hour nights with guaranteed hours and possible float to multiple units.

The role requires BLS and preferably ACLS/NIHSS. Must be able to titrate pressors; level 1 trauma experience is preferred if travel is involved. Relocation support and hospital resources provided.

Qualifications

• BLS-AHA required.
• ACLS-AHA, NIHSS preferred.
• Epic experience required.
• Must be able to titrate pressors.
• Level 1 trauma experience preferred; if no travel, trauma may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide Progressive Care Nursing on a 12-hour night shift.
• Float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units.
• Travel assignment with guaranteed hours at Winchester Hospital.

Night Shift 12 hours/day 3 days/week

Travel - Progressive Care Registered Nurse

• 8 weeks
• Shift - 12H Night 07:00 PM - 07:30 AM
• Facility: Winchester Hospital

Position Description: Contract Guarantee hours= 72 Hours Biweekly on all Assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any on-call time worked

Comments And Notes: BILH coversheet required at time of submission.

12H night shift, every other weekend

Every other weekend will be required. (Weekends for days - Sat and Sun, weekends for nights will be Fri, Sat, Sun). Floating occurs in 4 hour blocks while on shift - while floating every 4 hours is rare, it could happen.

BLS-AHA required. ACLS-AHA, NIHSS preferred.

MUST BE ABLE TO TITRATE PRESSORS - please include in write up. Level 1 trauma experience is preferred. If no prior travel, level 1 trauma will be required. Epic experience required. Ratios will be between 1:3-5 and will be expected to float to ED holds, inpatient holds, PACU and other boarding units.

Day one pass/fail testing will be administered. Relias practice tests will be available via Relias. Must be separated from BILH for a min of 6 months to be considered (perm, per diem, contract).
