Job summary

Banner Health in Glendale, AZ is seeking an Associate Director to lead the 40-bed Progressive Care Unit on the 6th floor. You will coordinate patient care, oversee staff, and drive operational performance across the unit.

You will champion quality initiatives, manage budgets, mentor nurse leaders, and participate in facility-wide committees to ensure safe, cost-effective, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required for new hires; BSN required for internal transfers/promotions.
• Requires current RN license in state of practice with BLS certification.
• Two years of clinical management experience in the relevant patient population.
• Familiarity with Alzheimer’s disease and developmental disabilities in LTC settings.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and clinical support to patients and staff.
• Lead quality and process improvement initiatives for the department.
• Develop and manage the department's operational and capital budgets.
• Develop staff leadership and support career advancement opportunities.
