Job summary
Mission Health in Asheville, NC is seeking a Nurse Educator Progressive Care to support and elevate clinical practice in our progressive care units. You will blend direct clinical expertise with education, coaching, and evidence-based practice to ensure nursing teams deliver patient-centered care.

Qualifications
- BSN is required; master's in nursing education preferred.
- Current NC RN license (or compact) with BLS and ACLS are required.
- PCCN or similar progressive care certification preferred or expected within defined timeframe.
- Experience in nursing education, staff development, or precepting is highly valued.
Responsibilities
- Plan, implement, and evaluate orientation, competency validation, and ongoing education for progressive care nursing staff.
- Develop and maintain educational materials, simulation scenarios, and skills labs.
- Serve as a clinical resource on the unit, providing real-time coaching and mentoring.
- Lead initiatives to improve patient outcomes and promote evidence-based practice.
- Analyze performance metrics to identify gaps and design targeted educational interventions.
