Job summary

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Liver Transplant IMC/PCU unit in Richmond, VA. This RN will handle transplant and post-operative care, telemetry, line management, and various critical care duties on a night shift.

Active VA or Compact RN license required with BLS; Epic experience is essential. Travel experience and 2 references are preferred, BSN is a plus, and weekend coverage is on a variable schedule.

• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred.
• Travel experience required.
• Epic experience required.
• Active VA or Compact RN license at submission.
• BLS required.
• BSN preferred.
• 2 professional references required.

Responsibilities

• Liver transplant and post-operative care
• Telemetry and dysrhythmia management
• Central line, PICC, and port management
• Blood product administration
• Chest tube and surgical drain management
• BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC
• Insulin protocols/drips
• Cardiac drips without titration
• ABG interpretation
• Tracheostomy care
• Wound care/wound vac
• Renal failure management
• Rapid response/code team participation
• Weekend: Every other weekend or equivalent
• Call: None
• Floating: Within scope if needed

Shift: Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

Job Overview
