Job summary
Pride Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a Liver Transplant IMC/PCU unit in Richmond, VA. This RN will handle transplant and post-operative care, telemetry, line management, and various critical care duties on a night shift.
Active VA or Compact RN license required with BLS; Epic experience is essential. Travel experience and 2 references are preferred, BSN is a plus, and weekend coverage is on a variable schedule.
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience; 2 years preferred.
- Travel experience required.
- Epic experience required.
- Active VA or Compact RN license at submission.
- BLS required.
- BSN preferred.
- 2 professional references required.
Responsibilities
- Liver transplant and post-operative care
- Telemetry and dysrhythmia management
- Central line, PICC, and port management
- Blood product administration
- Chest tube and surgical drain management
- BiPAP/CPAP and HFNC
- Insulin protocols/drips
- Cardiac drips without titration
- ABG interpretation
- Tracheostomy care
- Wound care/wound vac
- Renal failure management
- Rapid response/code team participation
- Weekend: Every other weekend or equivalent
- Call: None
- Floating: Within scope if needed
