Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking an RN for the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at Methodist Hospital in Omaha. This 24-bed unit specializes in Cardiac, Vascular, and Thoracic care.

You will care for patients undergoing advanced cardiac procedures and work in a team-focused, supportive environment. We welcome both new graduates and experienced RNs, with opportunities for training, paid certifications, and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• BSN or MSN required or obtained within 5 years for ADN holders.
• Experience in Progressive Care or Cardiac care preferred.
• Strong telemetry and patient education skills essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-appropriate nursing care and ensure understanding of treatment.
• Develop, review, and revise the plan of care with the care team.
• Collaborate with providers and other disciplines to optimize outcomes.
• Document patient progress and communicate SBAR during shifts.
