Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Omaha, Nebraska. This role requires a valid RN license, ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and a minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

The position features 12-hour night shifts, a 36-hour week, and a 14-week assignment with travel benefits and comprehensive insurance. A float rotation may be required to support staffing needs in the Step Down/Telemetry units.

Qualifications

• Valid registered nursing license.
• ACLS certification.
• BLS certification.
• NIHSS certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex patient cases such as CVA, TIA, COVID, and other acute conditions.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills and effective team collaboration.
• Adapt to unit needs and participate in float rotation when required.
• Complete pass/fail skills exam with at least 90% accuracy and follow unit policies.
