Job summary

Vote Blue is seeking Community Canvassers and Team Leaders in Tucson, AZ, to support progressive candidates through direct voter contact. Roles include door-to-door outreach, delivering the campaign message, and collecting survey data from residents.

Canvassers earn $22/hr with $20/hr training for the first 3 days; Team Leaders start at $24/hr. Overtime, bonuses, sick pay, and referral incentives are offered, with an additional $2/hr for bilingual speakers where applicable.

Qualifications

• Experience in leadership, community outreach, or public policy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual speakers may earn an additional $2/hr.

Responsibilities

• Engage with the public in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Deliver a campaign message and collect complete survey answers from voters.
• Participate in staff training to improve outreach skills.
• Follow the campaign's safety protocols.
• Lead a small group of canvassers in field work and debrief daily (Team Leader).
• Ensure canvassers have all materials needed to succeed.
