Job summary

Burns & McDonnell in the United States seeks a Programs Manager to lead the Programs Department, providing direction to Assistant, Staff and Senior Contingent Workers and Employee Owners across GIS, Public Involvement, Real Estate, Environmental, and Routing & Siting.

The role focuses on staff development, recruiting support, performance reviews, and process improvements to meet project needs and billable targets. It includes eligibility for the ESOP and a discretionary year-end bonus program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a Right-of-Way Solutions discipline.
• Minimum five years related professional experience in Right-of-Way Solutions project execution including leading teams in the field or office, coordinating staff and/or project management.
• Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills, strong interpersonal skills.
• Must possess the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management and clients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, leadership and technical guidance to contingent workers and employee owners within the Programs Department.
• Assist with staff planning, workload and career development for staff and contingent workers.
• Set objectives and develop standards/guidelines for the Right-of-Way Solutions group; advance tools and workflows for efficiency.
• Attend and participate in Division and Department meetings; support recruiting and retention efforts.
