The role ensures inmates receive high-quality services compliant with federal standards and coordinates with management to address deficiencies and enhance programs. Responsibilities include supervising staff, developing program policies, providing case consultations, and participating in training and budget reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field; Five years’ experience managing a correctional education program preferred or at least three years of supervisory experience.
• Experience in correctional education programs and supervising staff is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Oversee programs department to ensure goals and objectives are met per corporation policy and contract scope.
• Ensure inmates receive quality services that comply with federal regulations and standards.
• Develop and revise policies for program operations to align with company and client requirements.
• Provide supervision and training to programs staff; conduct performance reviews and contribute to long-range planning.
