The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a program administrator to oversee correctional education and rehabilitative programs.

You will ensure services meet policy directions and contractual requirements, working with the Facility Administrator to address deficits and enrich offerings. Responsibilities include supervising staff, directing program proposals, and coordinating with psychologists and other professionals to deliver effective inmate services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years in correctional education or 3 years in a supervisory role preferred.
• Ability to perform well in crisis situations is critical.
• Excellent oral and writing skills are required.
• Mature, flexible and able to command the respect of inmates and staff.

Responsabilités

• Oversee programs to ensure they meet policy directions and contract scope.
• Ensure quality services and standards for inmates within program areas.
• Direct or co-lead inmate groups in education, self-esteem, and related topics.
• Utilize community resources to support inmate programs.
• Direct and supervise treatment and aftercare planning within the programs.
• Provide supervision and training to program staff and address needs.
