Job summary

Edmundite Missions is seeking a Program Manager for the Dr. Michael and Catherine Bullock Community & Recreation Center in Selma, AL.

The role oversees day-to-day center operations, internal/external programming, and partnerships to meet community health, wellness, and education goals. You will lead a diverse team, ensure policies and volunteer training, coordinate scheduling, and manage budgeting with a focus on quality programming and community engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required; Associates considered with significant experience.
• Experience in community health, wellness or active lifestyle programming preferred.
• Experience in community facility management.
• MS Office and data management/analysis skills required.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license; background check required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal programming aligned with Edmundite Missions priorities.
• Manage center events, activities, and partnerships.
• Ensure policy compliance and volunteer training, including Child Protect training.
• Coordinate scheduling with the President’s office and center calendar.
• Maintain center infrastructure and safety; liaise with maintenance and vendors.
• Recruit, onboard, and develop center staff; define job descriptions.
• Support budgeting: justify line items and manage operating costs.
• Collect and analyze program data; report to leadership and development teams.
