Job summary

America’s Future in Washington, DC is seeking a driven intern to support the planning and execution of our Annual Gala and fellowships. You will help manage guest lists in Salesforce and Eventbrite and assist with communications to sponsors, donors, and honorees.

The role provides hands-on experience in nonprofit program development and events, reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, with a metro travel stipend.

Qualifications

  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Strong written and interpersonal communication.

  • Able to juggle multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Experience with Salesforce, HubSpot, or Eventbrite is a plus.
  • Prior event, program, or volunteer coordination experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Annual Gala planning and logistics.
  • Manage guest lists, RSVPs, and registration in Salesforce and Eventbrite.
  • Assist with sponsor, donor, and honoree communications.
  • Provide program support for AF’s fellowships and chapters.
  • Track attendance, participation, and feedback, and keep program data current in our CRM.
  • Support AF-DC events.
  • Contribute content for AF’s social media around programs and events.
  • Assist with daily office operations.
