Job summary

SHINE Systems is seeking a Programmer to join our team to design and implement software for real-time acoustic signal processing. The role requires strong software development experience and a background in engineering or related sciences.

The position involves up to 10% local travel between Bethesda and Manassas and will be contingent upon contract awards. Salary ranges are determined by funding, experience, and geographic location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited educational institution in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, or Computer Science or other degree that provides software development expertise equivalent to standard computer science curriculum.
• Approximately five years of experience in some combination of design, development, and implementation of real-time acoustic signal processing algorithms, development of parallel processing implementations, service-oriented architecture, signal processing, and real-time data analysis systems or visualization/simulation.

This position is contingent upon the successful award of a contract. We are currently building a team of qualified candidates to be proposed for this upcoming project.

Compensation & Pay Scale

• Salary Range: $55,000 to $63,000

• Determination: The final salary offered will be based on the awarded contract funding and the selected candidate's experience, education, and geographic location.
