Job description

Mange team working with SQL Server, Sybase, SSIS, SSRS, and T-SQL. 40 hrs/wk.

Plan, coordinate, and direct Database Administrators and Data Analysts in Sybase and SQL Server administration. Manage the installation, configuration, tuning, and support of all production servers. Oversee package and server migrations and review mirroring, log shipping, and data encryption implementations. Review and approve database maintenance plans and manage the development of stored procedures, queries, triggers, views, and indexes.

Experience

Must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electr Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of a Master’s) and 1 year experience (or 1 year experience as a Database Administrator, or related occupation).

Must have 1 year experience performing Sybase and SQL Server administration, installing, configuring and tuning production servers, and working with SSIS, SSRS and T-SQL. Must be willing to travel/relocate to unanticipated locations throughout the US on short notice for extended periods of time.
