The USC Mark and Mary Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute and Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (INI, www.ini.usc.edu) are world leaders in developing advanced computational and scientific approaches for mapping brain structure and function. LONI's multidisciplinary environment and cutting-edge resources enable integration of clinical, psychological, and genotypic data with neuroimaging phenotypes for research in neurology, psychiatry, and developmental neurobiology.
The Laboratory of Neuro Imaging (www.loni.usc.edu), part of the USC Stevens Neuroimaging and Informatics Institute at the Keck School of Medicine, develops intuitive, interactive web applications for archiving, searching, displaying, and distributing complex neuroscience data. We seek a senior programmer to extend the capabilities of our data platforms, reporting to faculty and collaborating with other programmers. The candidate must be proficient in Java (including servlets), JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSP, AJAX, and MySQL, with experience in requirement assessment, task assignment, code review, and debugging. Both front-end and back-end experience is essential. Experience with Docker and SGE ecosystems is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $52.98 to $57.70. When extending an offer, USC considers factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, key skills, internal equity, legal considerations, funding, and market conditions.
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and education
Minimum Experience: 3 years or equivalent combined education/experience
Minimum Field of Expertise: Strong programming knowledge, documentation skills, and the ability to work independently on complex projects.
