Description

JOIN OUR TEAM AS A PROGRAM THERAPIST - OUTPATIENT!

Sign-on bonus for FT status: $1,500.00

Your Work Matters How will you make a difference?

The Outpatient Program Therapist performs social services functions including assisting patients with bio-psychosocial needs, providing clinical social work services, crisis intervention, family therapy, and referrals.

Duties and responsibilities:

  • Formulate and conduct educational, therapeutic, and support groups.
  • Maintain professional development records.
  • Conduct individual, couples, and family counseling.
  • Comply with legal and medical reporting standards.
  • Represent the facility at legal hearings as needed.
  • Assess psychosocial, educational, developmental, and behavioral functioning.
  • Incorporate biopsychosocial and DSM-IV knowledge into treatment plans.
  • Supervise and verify nursing care plans.

Note: The essential functions are not limited to those listed above.

Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:

Education: Master's Degree in Social Work or related mental health field preferred; MSW, APC, LPC, LCSW preferred.

Experience: Minimum two years in psychiatric healthcare, including family/group therapy, crisis intervention, and assessment skills.

Additional Requirements: CPR/First Aid, CPI Training, flexible hours, and overtime may be required.
